Rentals.com 30-Day Money Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions
To be eligible for the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee (the “Guarantee”), each of the
following conditions must be met:
1. You must be a new customer of Rentals.com and have purchased your listing and monthly
pricing plan online at Rentals.com. The Guarantee is not available for account renewals.
2. Your property listing on the Rentals.com website must have been purchased as part
of a monthly pricing plan on or after April 2, 2009. The Guarantee does not apply
to pricing plans purchased prior to this date.
3. The Guarantee does not apply to any additional services, including without limitation,
Network of Sites and Custom Yard Signs. The Guarantee does not apply to any listings
that are purchased from one of Rentals.com’s affiliates or partners as part of a
print and online bundled package, even if such listings appear on Rentals.com.
4. Your listing must contain at least one exterior photo of the rental property and
your listing must have appeared on Rentals.com for 30 consecutive calendar days
without interruption following the listing start date. There are no pro-rated refunds
for any period subsequent to the first 30 days of service.
5. As of the date of request for a refund, your rental property must still be available
for rent. Listings for properties that are no longer available for rent are not
eligible.
6. You must have received less than two responses (or leads) from your listing on Rentals.com,
whether phone leads or email leads, or a combination thereof.
7. Accounts that have been cancelled or terminated by Rentals.com for violating our
Terms of Use do not qualify for the Guarantee. Only one Guarantee refund per household,
per calendar year is permitted.
Other Terms
You may request a refund by following the process described below. Refunds will
be granted only if all of the conditions described above have been met and all of
the instructions described below have been followed.
In order to request a refund, you must contact the Rentals.com Customer Service
Team. Customer Service Team members are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M.
to 5:00 P.M., Eastern Time, at 1-888-501-RENT. The Rentals.com Customer Service
Team will assist you with the refund process.
1. Your refund request must be made no earlier than 25 days after the listing first
appeared on Rentals.com and no later than 10 days following the ad expiration date.
2. Your refund request must include a completed and signed copy of the Refund Request
Form. Refund requests must be submitted by contacting Rentals.com Customer Service
Team, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time, at 1-888-501-RENT.
Our Rentals.com Customer Service Team will assist you with the process.
3. Your refund will be credited to the credit card used for the purchase of the
applicable monthly pricing plan. Please allow 4-6 weeks for refunds of check or
money order payments.
4. Your right to request a refund cannot be assigned or transferred, and the Guarantee
is void where taxed, restricted or prohibited by law. Fraudulent requests for refunds
could result in prosecution under mail fraud and other applicable statutes. The
Guarantee is not available for employees of Consumer Source Inc., its respective
parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, agencies,
and their respective employees. The Guarantee is governed by the laws of the State
of Georgia for the resolution of all claims and disputes. If any part of these Terms
and Conditions are deemed to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the
balance of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in effect and shall be construed
as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
5. Rentals.com shall, in its sole discretion, determine whether all requirements
for the Guarantee have been satisfied and may terminate or modify the Guarantee
program on a prospective basis at any time.
